Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026

1. What Cube Drills is

Cube Drills is a speedcubing timer, algorithm trainer, and practice tracker. Most of it is free; some features need a paid plan (section 5). These Terms govern your use of the Cube Drills website and account. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use it

You need a valid email address to register. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must confirm your account before it can be used to record solves — see the Privacy Policy for how that works. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use Cube Drills.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it. Give us accurate information when you register — in particular, your real date of birth, since it determines what protections your account gets.

4. Your data

The solves, sessions, and practice history you record are yours. You can export all of it at any time from Settings, in a format any other tool can read, and you can delete your account and everything in it whenever you want. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for anything beyond running and improving Cube Drills — see the Privacy Policy for specifics.

5. Paid plans

Paid plans are sold monthly, annually, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are handled by Stripe; prices are shown before you pay and may be adjusted for your region. You need to be 16 or over to buy a plan.

  • Renewal. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We'll tell you before any price change applies to your renewal.
  • Cancelling. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing → "Manage or cancel". You keep paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you aren't charged again. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately.
  • Lifetime. A lifetime plan is a one-time payment for paid features for as long as Cube Drills operates. It isn't a promise that the service will run forever.
  • Refunds. [TO CONFIRM: refund window and wording, including the EU/UK 14-day withdrawal right for digital services and whether it's waived once paid features start.] Where the law gives you a refund right, nothing here limits it.
  • Clubs and gift codes. A club owner buys a block of seats and assigns them to other accounts; a seat lasts while the club's plan is active and the owner keeps them in the club. A gift code grants the plan it names once, to the account that redeems it, and can't be exchanged for cash.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Try to access another user's account or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to bypass its security
  • Use the service to upload anything illegal, abusive, or infringing
  • Scrape or bulk-extract data from the service outside the provided export tools

7. Service availability

Cube Drills is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we don't guarantee the service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. Back up anything irreplaceable using the export feature.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cube Drills and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, to the extent not caused by our failure to provide the export and backup practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, or that belongs to a child whose parent or guardian asks us to remove it.

10. Changes to these Terms

If we make a material change to these Terms, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use Cube Drills after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

We'd like to use privacy-friendly analytics to see which features people actually use — no ads, no selling data, and it's off by default. Accepting only enables a small, fixed set of events (see our Privacy Policy); nothing is tracked either way until you choose.
